| Since early childhood, Christine has been involved in art. She is an artist, goldsmith, teacher, wife and mother. Christine believes that the core of being an artist is the need to communicate. As a 30-year resident of Carp she happily derives much of her inspiration from this Ottawa Valley village. Studying art and education in her native country of England until the age of 21 was preparation for teaching in primary schools. After immigrating to Canada, a four-year apprenticeship as a goldsmith prepared her for later becoming a business partner with her goldsmith husband, Eric.
